Uses a laser tracking system instead of a photo-optical system so tracking is terrible. I can move my thumb fast enough to lose track without performing a thumb motion. Overall, the ergonomics feel very poor compared to the old Logitech Trackman Wheel, the newer Elecom, or the M870. That little thing is annoying. The forward and back buttons look awful and are in an awkward position. The keys themselves have great feedback, but the overall design is sorely lacking. Sensitivity switches are often impractical when you frequently switch between speed and accuracy.
