TYC Cabin Air Filter for Ford Fiesta

When I finally realized the Fiesta does indeed have a cabin air filter, although the first edition of the owner's manual (US 2011) didn't list any part number or service procedures, and after checking several websites tried it enthusiasts, although the process has been described as complicated. This TYC filter was the lowest price I found as an OEM replacement. Instructions with photos are attached. Disconnect the blue sensor wire by twisting it counterclockwise 1/2 turn. One tedious step is removing and reinstalling the five (5) Torx screws on the case cover. Use a flexible or swivel ratchet with a T20 bit. There is no way to manually or visually check the correct seating of the new filter when installing it, except at the open end, and the installation required some fiddling, so hopefully it seated itself. After a few seconds at high speed, I could tell a difference in smell. no smell I'm glad I finally got it. A golden star for my forehead. If this operation seems complicated to you, ask a car radio specialist to do it. I understand that merchants can charge up to $50 per order.
