Works fine when I'm not using the USB power port. I've tried various external power supplies including my Anker Astro E1. Unfortunately, the noise generated by the power supply is very loud and rhythmic, it completely spoils the sound quality. I tried a mini USB cable with a built in choke and it made no difference. Quite disappointed as I had relied on using a USB power bank with a Flitecordr cable to extend my action camera's (GitUp Git2, great camera) short battery life. Question to flitecordr/Laminar Concepts Technical Support. Have you run tests on an airplane with an external DC power supply? Can you recommend a specific design/brand/model of power bank that doesn't make any noise? One of your competitors at least mentions that an external power supply can introduce noise into your audio recording. I'm about to order a new portable charger from the Anker PowerCore range and am hoping for better results. This is with my Flitecordr audio cable. The noise problem has greatly improved.
