After purchasing the Black & Decker Home Cafe System I thought this would be the best invention for a single college student. My first impression was the lack of quality and detail. The handle to open the lid was so weak that I was afraid of breaking it the first time I opened it. Although the machine made excellent coffee, the temperature was lukewarm and ready to drink in a matter of seconds. That meant I had to finish my entire mug in five minutes. What about level indicators? The OZ buttons should be off at 3-4 OZ. Second, the device leaked within five minutes of brewing. So I came here on Revain.com to check the reviews and found a lot of negative results. Then I went to Walmart to buy a similar system: Philips Senso. First, the Senso is everything you'd expect from quality (great feel, no fear of breakage). Second, the instructions clearly told me how to operate the machine. The coffee was hot (what a concept) and frothy like real coffee. I plan to use many of the Home Cafe Pods I have purchased in my sensor.
