. The gloves sent to me were size XXL/11 and the outer shell is quite roomy but the liner fits snugly around the thumb; just right for me, but i'm shorter than very tall. One of the features are the handcuffs: these are elastic bands that attach to the mittens, so when you remove the mittens they are still attached to the bands. Mittens can be combined with different linings because the lining is Velcro; The supplied lining is polyester insulation. Velcro is on 2 sides, fluffy and the second with hooks that catch curly fur; The liner has a velcro closure with hooks and if you toss it in the wash the velcro hooks will clog up with loose threads requiring it to be hand washed separately.
