Cold weather will change the rules of the game!

I ordered gloves first but they weren't warm enough so I sent them back. Ever since I got the mittens, my hands have been warm all winter long. They are excellent for skiing. Now I rarely need hand warmers except during the severest frosts. They justify the high price.

Pros
  • I'm holding my fists
Cons
  • Hard to say

Well made clothes, shoes and jewelry

Tried to protect my always cold hands while skiing. They are very well made and seem to me to be quite durable. A little uncomfortable - but these are mittens! If your hands are always cold, keep looking!

  • Decent performance

They look great, feel good and are quite pretty (have navy blue)

I got these because my Black Diamond earbuds were worn out and not getting warm. They've never been particularly warm. They appear to be well constructed, they have a great insert (I bought a set for my old Black Diamond mittens), comfortable and warm. The outer shell is well designed and creamed to nourish the skin and prolong its lifespan. These mittens came with Hefstra's elastic writing tapes. What a deal, I spent $20 on a set of my Black Diamond gloves. Indispensable when you take off your

Very hot. Gloves and mittens

I love these mittens! They keep my hands warm on cold Minnesota days when I'm skiing, sledding, hiking, you name it. Excellent investment.

No more cold fingers

Real mittens for the harsh cold. I don't know how waterproof they are, but below 10 it's not a problem. The only glove I've found that keeps my fingers warm. I have toasters that I can put heating pads in, but that doesn't hurt my thumbs. Highly recommended.

  • Good, but not great

Great gloves! Keep your hands warm and dry.

Great gloves! Keep your hands warm and dry while skiing in Colorado. The gloves worked very well in sub-zero temperatures and only on a few occasions did my fingers get cold (25-35 mph wind riding the lift at 11,000ft). As we set off again, my hands quickly got warm. In addition, they worked great and could be combined with a thin, heat-insulated glove if necessary.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Mostly good, but...

Liners, tight thumbs, roomy gloves

. The gloves sent to me were size XXL/11 and the outer shell is quite roomy but the liner fits snugly around the thumb; just right for me, but i'm shorter than very tall. One of the features are the handcuffs: these are elastic bands that attach to the mittens, so when you remove the mittens they are still attached to the bands. For leather palms, they recommend moisturizing them regularly and then applying Hestra Skin Balm with a soft cloth https://smile.amazon.com/Hestra-Gloves-91700-000-Leath…

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

The warmest ski gloves!

I bought them looking for warmth and they did not disappoint. I live in Colorado and ski several times a week. My fingers stayed warm every time. I was concerned about the "white" leather palms, but this is such high quality leather that they stay clean and I can see that they can easily be washed with a mild soap if they need cleaning. I think my favorite feature of them is the thick, elasticated wrist strap that keeps these mittens from falling off your knees when you have to take them off…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • thin

Warm men are good for men

After spending a lot of money on heated gloves and still having very cold fingers, I did some more research. On the internet, these mittens have received high praise for those who suffer from poor blood circulation in their fingertips. Since I still don't really trust the reviews, I bought a size 8 women's glove. It was the recommended size for my hand. You are too big. But since I also bought hot hands for running, I kept the larger size. Now I was skiing at a certain pace and with hot hands…
