I already have a (old) Stanley stud finder. It finds the center of a stud, but not so much accurate with it. So, I did some research and ended up buying the VIVREAL wall scanner, thinking it as a replacement for the old Stanley stud finder.So far, I found the VIVREAL accurately locates stud and I like the fact that it shows the center and edges of a stud. It has a comfortable grip and has a clear, helpful LCD display with detection mode and cues along with battery indicator.As for Cons, VIVREAL is not much useful when it comes to detecting AC wires. It’s has been unreliable in detecting AC wires and alerting at places where there’s no AC wires. In this regard, the Stanley stud finder is much more reliable in detecting AC wires. So, unlike my expectation it looks like I will have to keep both the scanners in order to cover both the stud finding aspect as well as the AC wi
