Not recommended with socks or barefoot
Nice footrest, but I didn't take into account that the "non-slip" surface actually has a sandpaper-like texture. I'm sure my socks will wear out quicker and will be uncomfortable barefoot in them. If you only use it with shoes it's only a plus for the anti-slip effect, but this is advertised for home use and how many people actually wear shoes while sitting at home? Although I would say that it can still be used and you can also wear slippers and that will also solve the problem.
