Overheats and delivers 1/10 performance

Used for a 2.5g network (should be a lower load on the adapter I think). 200 Mbit/s instead of 2.5 Gbit/s. The same was true for multiple ports on my 10g SFP+ switch and multiple different cables (category 5e, 6a and category 7). I think that this product can only deliver the advertised speed for a short time right after connection. Be careful and test thoroughly when you buy it. I return mine.
