I'm not a born athlete. I have to practice a lot to get better, especially on my serve. In the past I've used a ball hopper (a metal basket that you can put balls in and then fold down the handles to raise the hopper to waist height for easier ball extraction). It was ok but the inverted handles weren't that stable and the hopper sometimes fell when I took out the balls. Also, as I was collecting balls, I found that as the bunker filled up, it became more and more difficult to pick up more balls. The Gamma Ez travel trolley is durable and easy to assemble and disassemble. It is unassembled in a suitcase in the trunk of my car. The sturdy nylon ball bag that comes with the trolley is quickly attached to the four corners of the trolley with small straps and clips. When I'm in a hurry I don't have to fiddle with the straps as the nylon hardware at the corners of the bag slides onto the trolley's corner supports and holds the bag open. The zippered mesh lid keeps the balls in the bag when it's in the back of my car. The cart wheels can be locked or unlocked. For now I just leave them unlocked and the cart is easy to move from place to place during tennis practice. The ball pocket in the cart is the perfect height for me to reach balls (I'm 6'1") and unlike the ball container/gripper I've used before there is no risk of the EZ cart tipping over , when I'm too keen on getting balls out of the container. The Ez Cart is not designed to collect balls. So I paired it with the "Tennis Tube 21 Unique Ball Pickup" (available at Revain). This is a long plastic tube that I use to pick up tennis balls quickly and easily. This combination has allowed me to maximize the number of innings I put in in an hour of practice on a rented court during the winter months. At the end of a workout, very little time is spent pitching, picking up balls, or packing. The Gamma Ballhopper Ez Touring Cart is a great product and I'm glad I bought it.
