I don't feel like giving bad reviews to a well made product, sorry. I bought this hose for all the obvious reasons. It is a solid and durable product with quality fittings. When I received it (Sept. Connecticut, so the weather is still warm) I noticed that it's a little stiff. The instructions warn the user that this is normal and should not be straightened too much or you may cause a leak or break the heating element or electrical cord. Fast forward to October, Colorado, 20 degrees and it was almost impossible to use the tubing without putting in a lot of effort to flatten it out even a little. The product may be suitable for a long-term installation, but I found it useless for an overnight stay. I would recommend unwrapping it in warm temperatures or maybe running hot water through it to smooth it out. Same procedure to roll it back up in the morning. After using it once, I decided to just turn the water off overnight and plug it back in in the morning. If I were to buy a heated water hose again, which I DO NOT do, I would try the less expensive regular Camco or other brand hose, NOT this THRU HOSE, as kink resistance usually means a much stiffer hose. It may be easier to work with traditional heater hoses.
