Great hose. Terrible customer service

This is a significant home. It takes up a lot of space. When you first get it it's very stiff and doesn't like to unroll, but once warm it's fine. Our main reason for the low score is that we ordered the hose first and it leaked. So much so that we had quite a large puddle in the water access area of our RV. However, I usually understand the return period to be a significant amount of time with back and forth emails. We had to order an extra hose before returning the original hose because we…

Very disappointed. suitable for water hoses and fittings

Like others, I have "bubbles" in my hose. It's been less than 30 days since I opened and plugged it in. Check out the photos as well as others they have posted. For the money this hose costs, that should NOT be happening! I wanted this product to be all of that. was so poorly described. I LOVED the idea of the all-in-one heater hose and that it wouldn't be so bulky and "movable" looking at my parking spot. I won't try the "all-in-one" idea again. . I'll resort to good quality tubing, heater…

Survived the winter without frost

This hose worked very well in a very cold winter. Pros: Does not freeze with proper installation and insulation. This is the original shape. When straightening the hose, the heating tape bulges. It bothered me at first, but it didn't seem to affect the hose's function. The hose draws constant current while it's plugged in, meaning it's wasting power when the temperature rises above freezing. Surprisingly, the hose doesn't have a built-in thermostatic switch that would only turn on the hose…

Very hard and difficult to handle

I don't feel like giving bad reviews to a well made product, sorry. I bought this hose for all the obvious reasons. It is a solid and durable product with quality fittings. When I received it (Sept. Connecticut, so the weather is still warm) I noticed that it's a little stiff. The instructions warn the user that this is normal and should not be straightened too much or you may cause a leak or break the heating element or electrical cord. Fast forward to October, Colorado, 20 degrees and it was…

Saved my cock! at RV Parts & Accessories

later Living in Texas I figured I wouldn't need this item at all. It turns out that latest "arctic blast" proved me wrong! It was down to -7 degrees Fahrenheit in the desert! I had a previous Camco hose (which is just as cool, just not heated) and it froze instantly, causing my inlet to crack and freeze through my RV's plumbing and storage tanks. Luckily I was hooked up to shore power and my water heater kept everything from freezing but I couldn't fill it with water so we had to top up the…
