Review on πŸ’§ Enhanced Moisture Barrier Performance of Concrete Screws by Zack Frazier

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Large screw on concrete, prevents moisture ingress.

These screws are very useful when you want to fix something in concrete and also slow down water ingress. The screws have both a hex head and a Phillips head (I prefer a hex head), which is fine depending on what's in my impact wrench at the moment. This box also came with a 3/16" carbide hammer drill bit which is required prior to installation. It appears to be of average quality and should have no problem surviving beyond the number of screws in this package. The only negative I can find is it has "wings" next to the o-ring. While I see their purpose as removing dirt to improve sealing, they can be a real problem when trying to install a junction box that has holes big enough for the drill bit, generally the drill bits do theirs Work well and hopefully last a lot longer by preventing water ingress and parts loosening over time.

Pros
  • HEAVY DUTY CONCRETE SCREW: Ideal for attaching motorcycle ramps and other brackets to concrete slabs.
Cons
  • unreliable
