The bar is very easy to use. It lathered a decent amount and was soft and smooth on my long reach. The tile is very thick and will last a long time if kept dry. I also bought a shampoo/conditioner jar (this is the only Ethique jar I could find. Yes, it's bigger than this bar, but it's not). It does not matter. It is important that the soap remains dry. After the first use, my skin felt very clean, soft and moisturized. The feeling is the same after each use. My skin is very dry but with this cleanser I don't need a moisturizer. This saves me a lot of money. The cleanser and moisturizer I bought cost me $70. And I love the fact that it's completely zero waste! The box and paper sleeve will be composted and the strip will simply disappear. I also use their deodorant - oddly enough, although there's no antiperspirant, I sweat less with Ethique than with any other antiperspirant/deodorant brand - and my granddaughter uses the shampoo and conditioner bars. She wants to order deodorant and try the shampoo and conditioner on our next order.
