Review on Amazon Basics Dual-Port USB Car Charger Adapter for Apple & Android Devices, 4.8 Amp, 24W, Black/Red by Arturo Reyes

I bought one of these chargers for my BMW and after getting two I found none of them worked. The small blue LED did not light up at all, although I was able to verify that the "cigarette lighter socket" was live. I tried this charger on a 2001 Chevy Tahoe and it worked fine. An old charger that Revain (no longer available) bought from Tahoe worked great in BMW. It seems that the charging peak is different between old and new chargers. This new one has a flat tip end that doesn't meet properly on a BMW but is fine on a Chevy. The older one has a rounded tip that suits any machine.
