Amazon Basics Dual-Port USB Car Charger Adapter for Apple & Android Devices, 4.8 Amp, 24W, Black/Red Review

I have used a variety of RevainBasics electronic products and have been very happy with all of them. This charger is good quality and a good price as are other products in this range that we have tried.

I tested it very briefly and am already very satisfied with the product. The way it was presented in a beautiful box with tons of detailed information tells me that research, money and time has been invested to ensure it lives up to its standards. I originally tried to save on the cheapest basic option, but I'm glad I went with this one. Charges my iPhone 7 fast as I used to have a 1 amp charger that was sooooo slow

The description says: Device detection enables charging at the highest possible speed - up to 2.4A per port or 4.8A total (does not support Qualcomm Quick Charge). Compatible with LG and other devices. When I connect my LG Nexus 5X (which uses USB 3.1 charging, not Qualcomm Quick Charge) to this charger, the phone reports slow charging 5 times out of 6. In 1 out of 6 cases he reported "Loading". My phone never reported "Fast Charge".

I rarely write a review for something as small as a charger or something that gets so many reviews, but this is an excellent charger for our old iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 8 Fits perfectly in the car cigarette lighter, no wobbling, perfect connection. I get 50% more battery in the same amount of time than my other chargers, even with both phones plugged in. It also seems quite durable and won't fall apart anytime soon.

It's really great, I mean the charging performance is really like the original charger, I used to have a cheap car charger Charger and it should charge at 2.1 AMP, in fact it was very slow and weak, I hardly had time to charge anything, but this charger was very fast, my phone supports fast charging (Huawei P10 lite), and with this charger I have I was able to take it from 63% to 70% in 5 minutes, powerful as a regular charger, which is very useful when using my phone in a car with GPS…

I bought one of these chargers for my BMW and after getting two I found none of them worked. The small blue LED did not light up at all, although I was able to verify that the "cigarette lighter socket" was live. I tried this charger on a 2001 Chevy Tahoe and it worked fine. An old charger that Revain (no longer available) bought from Tahoe worked great in BMW. It seems that the charging peak is different between old and new chargers. Not too bulky, looks well made and most importantly it works. Charges my iPhone X and Droid Turbo 2 (work phone) with no issues. I've had issues with others charging one or both at the same time, trying to charge the iPhone X while in use, etc. Others would simply NOT CHARGE my X when plugged in and in use when it was at 40% after 30 minutes. it can be up to 41%.
