These gloves are great. I bought the medium size for my 5 year old daughter who is above average height: 48 inches and 55 pounds. I was planning on using them for her severe eczema on her hands but figured if they looked good enough I might buy her a pair to use with her Easter dress. I will be buying another pair for her and also a pair for her older sister who is 7" and 53 1/2". The gloves also stretched enough to fit her. I'm glad I didn't try to get her a size up! There were no holes in the stitching and while the material is thin and the design is simple, it's perfect if that's what you're looking for. I can recommend it for both applications!
