My truck came to me with a 3" front "leveling kit," but nothing in the rear, so it needed some rear lift to even things out. I got this rear blocks kit installed in a couple of hours, and the first half of that was just figuring out how to block and position my jackstands and jack (which were both far too short for the job- *not* recommended). I kept it VERY simple, doing one side at a time. Only tool used was an impact wrench and sockets. My steps were:1. lift one tire a couple inches off the ground2. put jackstand under leaf spring forward of axle, allow weight to rest on stand3. remove tire so axle can drop enough to clear block4. remove old u-bolts and nuts5. lower axle until block fits between axle and spring6. raise axle into place and re-install tire because it always sketches me out having trucks on stands without a wheel to catch it if it slips off.7. install new ubolts and nuts, torque wellI didn't follow the steps some recommend of disconnecting the shocks and brakeline brackets, so that certainly shortened the process. I'm sure there's a good reason people do that though, so don't take any of this as gospel. When I pressed the axle back up the pin on the block didn't fit right into the holes in the springs, but I was able to get them to pop in just by turning the tire a little bit (parking brake engaged).
