Review on 🔒 RT-TCZ Hood Latches: Anti-Theft Kit for 2018-2019 Jeep Wrangler JL - 2-Door, 4-Door Security Accessories by Justin Metz

Compared to the standard Jeep JL hood latches, the plastic is a little softer. It definitely feels strong enough to deter a random person who might pop your hood just for fun, but I have a feeling a good pull with a normal person's force could break the latch mechanism. There are not many reliable locks currently available. Deadbolt branded locks had a device at SEMA 2018, but it's not yet on the market and appears to require a more complicated installation process. There are other all-metal latches that can slow down a thief a bit and cost about the same but look uglier in my opinion. I'll keep it until something better comes along.
