I have been in a cast for a full reverse shoulder replacement for over 6 months due to 2 surgeries plus 1 more coming up as my left left shoulder is still dislocated. This new sling is a godsend! I can move my arm up to my elbow while trying to complete small tasks. It's not hot here and I can wear a sleeve and sweater to look and feel more normal. Wearing a regular bandage is uncomfortable and my neck takes a lot of strain from the weight of the arm. This new bandage has relieved my neck and I can now support my shoulder with the opposite shoulder. Much better! My god I look better and feel better!
