I placed this up my rural, unpaved road near the main road to keep delivery trucks from tearing up my driveway and our road. The inconvenience of stopping to check is nothing compared to having to fill ruts and fix fence damage from the trucks. Delivery folks love it, too, because getting up to my house is hard and they are not supposed to turn around so they either have to back down the drive or park downhill and walk up. I had to put some weight in the bottom to keep it from blowing over (a bag of sand) and the design did not leave a large enough space to put my address as large as I would have liked, but its OK. UPS should offer these at a discount in rural areas. They would save them time, damage to their trucks and aggravation to their drivers.
