Large and heavy, this surge protector might not be the lightest option, but the solid metal construction gives it a very premium feel. This is no ordinary cheap plastic surge protector. Safety features: power rating 3330J, clamping voltage 140V and forward voltage 330V. It also includes a $250,000 warranty on the protected equipment in addition to a lifetime warranty on the protector itself. So I'm confident that in the event of a failure everything connected is protected. I've heard stories in the past of companies using obscure registration requirements or other hidden terms to claim hardware warranties. This does not appear to be the case here. It also includes protective caps. I don't have young children but I still use them to keep dust out of unused outlets.
