Benefits include improved maneuverability, stopping distance, and drainage. In general, the Pilot is the superior choice for a summer road trip because of its high level of soundproofing. I'd recommend the Hankook Ventus Prime for everyday driving because it's more comfortable, it handles similarly well, and it's 2 times less expensive currently.
