The average product, you can find a better one.

The initial reaction upon installation was as though I had not swapped to winter tires. The gravel asphalt we normally use has a terrific rumbling. After about a thousand kilometers, things quieted down (or maybe it was just getting warmer), which leads us to our second observation: rubber becomes substantially stiffer when the temperature drops below +10°C/+15°F. Due to an increase in grooves, the contact patch is narrower than that of rivals. Although it was a contentious ruling, driving quickly in the rain is still prohibited in Hong Kong. Even though there are no such issues with Hankook in the winter, my car pulls slightly to one side because of this (albeit this is a subjective disadvantage). Benefits include improved maneuverability, stopping distance, and drainage. In general, the Pilot is the superior choice for a summer road trip because of its high level of soundproofing. I'd recommend the Hankook Ventus Prime for everyday driving because it's more comfortable, it handles similarly well, and it's 2 times less expensive currently.

Pros
  • Slowed down, rainy driving
Cons
  • Distraction, ease, and cost
