hoses over 8ft long are pretty hard to come by so they were great to have and they were reasonably priced. If I were to use them in the traditional way ie To the washing machine I wish they had 90 degree connections as the bend at the washing machine seemed to put stress on the hoses and if not pressurized they would kink at the back of the washing machine . My second complaint is that I wish they had a plastic coating/sleeve over the SS braid. The hose braid is pretty rough and almost scratched my washer and dryer when I installed the hoses. The dryer kit I bought had a 90 degree attachment for the end of the dryer and a plastic cover/sleeve over the braid. A jacket would be nice. I have a cold hose from the inlet to the 90 degree water hammer to the washing machine. The hot hose runs from the inlet to the Y-piece in the dryer hose kit. The Y-piece then connects the 6 foot dryer hose to the dryer (it had a 90 degree connector on the dryer) and the short 1 foot hose in the dryer kit to the 90 degree water hammer and then to the Washing machine. So it works great, helping to get water to both the washer and dryer with just two very long hoses.
