Review on ACDelco 39054K Professional Serpentine Tensioner by Mandela Buycks

This tensioner was just what I needed. My car made this boring noise every time I started or parked the car and it was driving me crazy. At first I thought it was the engine mounts I was changing, but it ended up being this tensioner. I drive a 1.8 liter Honda Civic 06 sedan and after reading the problems it has had in the past I found that the tensioner in my car was never changed. The strap is longer because you need to reposition it as shown in the picture inside the box. I personally took it to a mechanic to have it replaced knowing it was hard work especially if you don't have the right tools, but I only paid $120 to have it done at the store.
