Review on Brooks Womens Levitate Lilac Purple Women's Shoes - Athletic by Nelson Calafell

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Should have followed the advice of other runners!

I want to know why companies find it necessary to fix what isn't broke? Let me just say that I am an avid Brooks fan and have been with them for about 4 years. After back, neck and knee problems, I'm picky about running shoes. Levitate (1st gen) came out and was recommended for my pronation and fit needs. They arrived and the extra padding was welcomed by the extra 30 pounds of baby weight that I wanted to "walk away". I loved my Levitate so much that I wore them for much longer than the 15 month run probably should have been. My knees started bothering me on Tuesday and Thursday (running days) this week and I had holes in them. I've scoured the internet for a few originals my size to no avail, so I spent the money on the second generation. I attracted them and was not an optimist. You don't feel like the first generation. The lack of padding and the area around my ankle feels weird which worries me about getting blisters. I made the mistake of ordering them through Amazon (because I wanted to get back to work as soon as possible) and not through the Brooks website, which is why I don't have a 90-day trial period. I'm about to go running, but I'm not optimistic. streams! Bring back the original design! The reviews for her were overwhelmingly good, but people complained that they didn't feel that way. Okay, the swearing is over. until after my first run. went for a run. I'm doing a HIIT run and during the first lap I felt the area around the top rubbing uncomfortably. I continued the workout but found I could only run 4.22 miles before blisters developed! I've always worn Under Armor no-show socks when running and this has never happened. I will have to buy new socks to continue walking in them. The knees felt good, but the rest sucked. I'm so disappointed and can't return them. UPDATE: - Updating my Brooks because I need to give credit when needed. Road Runner Sports, the seller of Revain, will not accept a refund unless I upgrade to their VIP program. So I contacted Brooks support directly. They were AWESOME and it reminded me why I'm such a big fan! They give me an exchange for my shoes and I get glycerine that ships for free. They then advised me to donate my new Levitate 2 to a local charity rather than returning them. It's a $150 pair of shoes! While I'm not impressed with the changes made to these shoes, I am impressed with their customer service. If you run for pain or pleasure I do not recommend this company, Brooks Running Enough.
