Poorly designed and manufactured mounting brackets
The metal of the mounting brackets is very thin, the non-slip rubber is also very thin and delicate. They are hard enough to tighten to prevent slipping without damaging the rubber and deforming the very thin metal clips. I had to replace the rubber with butyl rubber for bike inner tubes to have enough downforce to keep the posts from slipping when the wind hits the kayak from the side. They are very poorly designed, you'd better spend more to get properly designed frames.
