This is a very useful and handy water pump! I've used smaller and cheaper $20 water pumps and the plastic hoses could only be connected at one end, but the AQQA pump spoiled me. It comes with interchangeable parts, allowing me to switch jets and use it outside doing water changes or inside in the swamp. Also, the control panel gives the user a lot of control over the flow, which makes it easier for me as I can push a button to stop the flow instead of manually pulling the outlet. This pump also works great in a sump! In addition to the angled air intake (designed for septic tanks), it has a fairly long cable length, which makes routing easier. The pump control panel can also be installed! It has a hole that allows you to hang it on the wall, making your installation very aesthetic. My 75 gallon tank recently had a leak and this pump was extremely helpful in removing all of the water. The small cheap water pump I have can only pump a certain amount of water at a time and can't pump water beyond a certain limit. However, the hose for this pump allowed me to reach the water at the very bottom of the tank and drain it in no time!
