Does not fully support SATA USB boot.

I bought this case not only because of the unique looks but also because it has a built in SATA connector. The Raspberry Pi 4 recently started supporting native booting from USB by flashing an EEPROM, so I was happy to have a case where my boot drive no longer has to be hanging off the side of the case. My bootable USB drive is an MSATA SSD in a USB adapter. In preparation for the occasion, I bought an MSATA to 2.5 SATA adapter to take advantage of the 2.5" form factor supported by the nespi 4 enclosure. Unfortunately, after installation in nespi, the Raspberry Pi boots via the included SATA -Lost connection.Using Raspberry PI OS (raspbian) Splash screen blinks then goes blank and never boots.Testing the drive in another USB sata adapter it boots fine and then in the second USB sata adapter it boots neither. The Raspberry Pi seems to be picky about which USB-SATA adapters it can boot SSDs from.Unfortunately, the built-in SATA connector that comes with the Nespi 4 isn't compatible with USB booting, which is a shame when you consider it how useful it would be to boot from this connector built into the case. I'm sure that with some Linux/PI magic this problem can be solved. But I'm not a person with such technical skills. My skill- The limit was flashing the Raspberry PI 4 EEPROM and enabling USB booting at all. That being said, I'm a bit disappointed by other factors: 1. The included micro HDMI to full size HDMI adapter doesn't work. I had to keep using my regular micro HDMI cable. No big deal.2. After installing the case, only 2 USB ports remain, one 2.0, one 3.0. Plugging in a keyboard and mouse fills them up unless I get a USB hub. It would be nice if there was a 2.0 port wedged on the back. For your information only.3. The temperatures are quite high. When playing a 1080p YouTube video in Chrome, the temperature rose to around 65Β°C. This is with built-in metal heatsinks and a fan. Maybe I will add white thermal pads to solve this problem. Thermal pads add bulk to the case and make the case more difficult to screw in when used in conjunction with heatsinks. Surprisingly, while there is a fan, there really aren't any holes for airflow through the case. This will limit the usefulness of the fans. All in all I regret the purchase. So much potential at first glance, but then it fails due to small things. I'm pretty sure this will work for those booting from an SD card and using SATA for storage. But it doesn't quite fit my use case.
