Bought to replace an old unit. This GE unit is amazing! We use them in our bedrooms because it's cheaper than running our air conditioner day and night on a very hot summer! This unit is super quiet, has an energy saving mode with no loss of cooling performance, an amazing dehumidifier and most importantly, a remote control! No more getting up in the middle of the night to make manual adjustments! All the controls to set the temperature, turn cooling mode on or off, and more. It also has a timer and you can switch to fan mode to suck in some outside air. You can set everything up without getting out of bed! It is used to cool a bedroom of around 200 square feet, but can also cool a large area with ease! This is a quality product that I highly recommend!
