Due to the nature of my job I need the best navigation I can get

I am a government military and purchased this GPS to use in my cruiser. I have a very large coverage area (2 full counties) and really rely on it to call me quickly and efficiently. Due to the nature of my work I need the best navigation I can get, people's lives literally depend on it. It's very easy to use and does a great job of finding even very rural roads in remote areas. The included suction cup mount works great and keeps the device attached to the windshield even when driving over 100km/h on uneven/bumpy roads. The screen is easy to see and read at night and in direct sunlight, which is great. I use the device daily, and some days I have to answer dozens of addresses. It does a really good job of finding most addresses in 30 seconds or less. The voice navigation is loud and clear enough to even hear my sirens, and the screen size is perfect for looking down and seeing what's going on before it's your turn. The fact that it also always tells you which street you are on and the nearest intersection is also very helpful to me, especially when I'm assisting a local police officer in a town I don't know. However, there are several disadvantages. . On very hot days, the suction cup fails and the device falls off the windshield. It's not really a big problem as I've had the GPS for about 6 months now and it's only fallen out the window 2 or 3 times when in direct sunlight on very hot days. Another problem is that the GPS sometimes sends you down strange routes. It calculates the most direct route based on mileage, which sometimes means sending you down a single lane dirt road that actually takes you longer to get to your address than if you stayed on the main roads. There were also a few instances where the GPS couldn't find the address and I had to use a backup paper map. 99% of the addresses I entered were found. Overall, this is a great GPS and I would recommend it to anyone, whether you use it for work like I do, or for leisure travel or city commuting. That's a lot of GPS for the price and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one if I need it. Several of my colleagues bought one after seeing how well mine worked. Excellent goods.
