Best Glass French Press! I've seen a lot, bought a few, but still come back to this one. It's easy to hold (no small handle, no bulbous top), frugal at 17 ounces, the 17 ounce plunger seems to offer better tension than the 12 ounce plastic holder so metal won't crack countertops. I prefer a French glass press as I don't have a brew time but go by color (some days are lighter than others). There are many comments in the French press on the subject of "plastic”. But the spoiler, all other French glass presses have the same plastic parts inside, just the chrome finishes.
