You must use the original fuel pressure sensor. Be careful not to damage it when removing it as the sensor costs more than the pump. After installation, the fuel gauge was moved by 1/8 tank. This means that when I ran out of gas, the gauge was showing 1/8th of the tank. I think I could take the pump off and figure out how to adjust the lever, but that's the problem. I heard these Chinese pumps may die early but they are still working after 7 months and over 11,000 miles. My son convinced me to lift the bed instead of dropping the tank to replace the pump. It was pretty easy. Remove the three mounting screws, loosen the three mounting screws and disconnect an electrical connector. Tilt the bed up and lean on a stand.
