After my concrete house was reinforced with thermal insulation and provided with a metal roof, I could not use my WLAN on the terrace. I wasn't planning on drilling into a concrete wall and running a 40ft ethernet cable so I decided to buy this product. Wow, I had internet back on my patio in 3 minutes. Setup was very easy, plug it into the wall, plug it into my router and Shazam. I sit on my patio, watch my favorite shows and chat with friends on social media. The instructions are clearly written and easy to understand. There is no website for further instructions or a webpage for setup. I was expecting my electrical system to lose speed, but gosh I was surprised when I did my first speed test. It was at my download speed. I didn't believe it at first, so I looked again. I started streaming HD movies as a skeptic and now I believe in it. It worked so well that I decided to see if it would work in my cave of humans. the 18 x 14 foot metal building where I keep all my toys. This building is 50 feet from my house but on the same outlet. With that in mind, I embarked on an adventure. I took off the patio unit, went to my "men's den", plugged in the unit and was back in business. I lost 1MB in download speed, maybe due to the size and distance of the power cord, but it was worth it. I don't want to run cable to this building and other options will cost more than this. This will definitely come in handy when I need to order parts for my tractor or find some DYI projects. If you're having some of the same issues as I said above, I highly recommend this product. I'm sure my wife won't let me leave this device in my man cave so I'll order another device but I think I'll see if I can get the WIFI adapter that comes with this device , so I can use my tablet My man cave. . As soon as everything is ok I will definitely update my review.
