Making a children's blanket for the arrival of friends' granddaughter. Her sister-in-law made one for each of her other grandchildren; However, she died and my friend wanted to continue the tradition so he asked me if I would do it. I knit baby sweaters and hats for several of her grandchildren, so I was glad the yarn worked. I am using a weaving pattern for a boy who is due in January.
