. Appears to be well made and made in Taiwan, not Japan (I would prefer Japan). The spring on these caps can wear out (fail). Replacing the radiator caps (for me it's a 94ft Toyota (22R-E)) is a simple maintenance operation. I usually do this about every eight years or 80,000 miles (so it doesn't need to be done often). It has a metal spring (which is good). You can't see it in the product photos. I paid $6.81 (08-2020). The blue rubber appears to be silicone, which lasts longer than rubber gaskets and works better in cold temperatures, but can typically withstand temperatures up to around 200 degrees, and car radiator temps typically reach 195 degrees. I prefer silicone but didn't realize the temperature limits would be so close. So I'll keep an eye on it and update this review if it doesn't work. Otherwise a good product and I would buy it again and it's worth the money.
