Much better than the factory with a new radiator.

I bought this for my Toyota 93 p/u, it has a plastic/aluminium radiator, non original, used factory cap and was starting to fail so looked at this nice double silicone sealant and it fits firmer than the old one so far so good.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Long time

Fits well. Made in Taiwan, printed with Japanese characters.

Ideal for a small home. Made in Taiwan with printed Japanese characters. Looks like. Cute? In the best case. It's funny to call it "cute" when you use it under the hood of an old pickup truck with 240,000 miles on it. (2004 Nissan Frontier 3.4 V6 4WD)

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

This is smaller than the standard radiator cap.

I didn't know what the R124 cap was. Since I have a cap that fits my dirt bike and not my car, I'm guessing that R124 means small. Sellers should make this clear to us buyers. I had to throw this hat in the trash. Shouldn't have sent it back.

Pros
  • Complete set
Cons
  • Empty

Fits perfectly on Nissan Versa 2009

Flushed with coolant, replaced thermostat and radiator pipes at 90,000km. However, I started losing coolant and couldn't find any visible leaks. Based on the comments I found during my research, I replaced the radiator cap and the issue was resolved. The cap came quickly, fitted perfectly and solved the coolant leak problem.

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Zero

Works great on Subaru 96

This worked great on my Subaru Legacy Brighton 96. Had problems with the old cap and air bubble squeezing antifreeze out. Checked for a defective cylinder head gasket - no trace. I did however put in a new thermostat, fluid, radiator cap and Subaru A/C (just in case as the engine is old and actually intended to fill in gaps where graphite is lost in the head gaskets) . Months without fluid loss or problems.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

. Appears to be well made and made in Taiwan, not Japan (I would prefer Japan). The spring on these caps can wear out (fail). Replacing the radiator caps (for me it's a 94ft Toyota (22R-E)) is a simple maintenance operation. I usually do this about every eight years or 80,000 miles (so it doesn't need to be done often). It has a metal spring (which is good). You can't see it in the product photos. I paid $6.81 (08-2020). The blue rubber appears to be silicone, which lasts longer than rubber…

Pros
  • . New
Cons
  • . Slightly torn.
