Brake lever fits but clutch lever does not

I have a 2017 honda cb500x, I need to replace a broken brake lever, it fits but is a bit wobbly so could be replaced quickly. I decided to put the clutch lever in to see how it would look and see if it wobbles as well. It doesn't fit at all, I have to sand it a bit to fit the standard case.
