Review on 5053 Pro Diver Collection Automatic Watch for Men by Invicta by Jarod Berthelson

Very nice looks, keeps time well thanks to the proven Seiko NH35A 24 jewel automatic movement. This watch has a screw-down crown and case back. It also has an exhibition on the back so you can see the movement. Other features include a stainless steel case and bracelet. There is also a date function with a nice cyclopean magnifying glass to make reading easier. Now for the bad news: the bezel should rotate easily, but this one sucks. I sent the first watch back as it was almost impossible to turn the bezel with your fingers. I received a replacement which appeared to be spinning when it arrived but has been very difficult to move since. I won't be sending it back because they all seem like that. The clasp on the stainless steel bracelet also works but is very poorly constructed making it difficult to open to remove the watch. Sure, at this price point, the belt adjustment pins are push pins, but they work. Overall I think this watch is pretty good value for money, it looks good, has a good mechanism, but the quality control of the bezel and strap design make me downgrade this watch to three stars. I would give him 3 1/2 if it was possible.
