Works fine but breaks down into small brass fibers in use - much more so than steel wool. I had little bits of brass everywhere - in every nook and cranny of the pistol I was restoring. I'm concerned that some of these fibers might get lost in the final cleaning and what they might do if left somewhere in the breech or barrel. At least I won't be using this to restore weapons anymore. The Big Frontier 45 is a much better weapon choice.
