Pro-Series Alpha-Black LED Headlights with DRL Bar and Sequential Turn/Activation Light for Ram 1500/2500/3500 (5th Gen 2500 Style) - AlphaRex® 880523-09-18: A Decent Performance But Some Downsides

The Pro-Series Alpha-Black LED Headlights with DRL Bar and Sequential Turn/Activation Light for Ram 1500/2500/3500 (5th Gen 2500 Style) - AlphaRex® 880523-09-18 offer a lot of great features and a modern look. The DRL bar and sequential turn/activation light certainly make your vehicle stand out and the LED lights deliver brighter and clearer illumination than the stock headlights. Installation is relatively easy with the plug-and-play design and the headlights fit nicely on a Ram 2500. However, there are a few downsides to these headlights that prevent me from giving them a higher rating. Firstly, the build quality is not that great and the materials used feel a bit cheap. Additionally, the brightness of the headlights is quite uneven, with some spots appearing brighter than others. Finally, some users have complained about condensation forming inside the headlights after installation, which is certainly not something you want with an expensive headlight upgrade. Overall, the Pro-Series Alpha-Black LED Headlights with DRL Bar and Sequential Turn/Activation Light for Ram 1500/2500/3500 (5th Gen 2500 Style) - AlphaRex® 880523-09-18 are a decent option for those looking to upgrade their headlights. However, the issues with build quality, uneven brightness, and possible condensation make them a less than perfect choice.

Pros
  • The sequential turn/activation lights on the Pro-Series Alpha-Black LED Headlights not only look cool, but also improve overall safety by making your vehicle more noticeable to other drivers
Cons
  • The DRL bar and sequential turn/activation light may be distracting for other drivers on the road, potentially leading to accidents
