Review on Schwinn SW76173 4 Universal Pedal 16 Inch by Nathan Guzman

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Item not as shown - dangerous new (or old) design

I knew I would buy some cheaper bike pedals but as they wanted to go bike riding my son would outgrow them in a year, I wouldn't too worried about it. If I received what is stated in the product description I would appreciate it, maybe even give it a five star rating. I received a set of Schwinn universal bicycle pedals with adapters. But the ones I received didn't look like the picture. They had little to no hooks or protrusions for the shoe, and the profile was almost flat. After I put them on his bike, I immediately noticed that his feet kept slipping off them and he kept stepping his foot on the bike. At first I thought his boots were the problem as the ones he was wearing didn't have deep tread initially, but then when I put my shoes on the pedal (with good tread) they also slipped off. .I'm not sure if I got the new version or the old version of the pedals but they were pretty dangerous either way. I removed them immediately so he wouldn't slip off the pedals and end up falling and seriously injuring himself. Revain easily accepted a full refund. Also, they were easy to put on and take off. I have included photos of what I received so you can see for yourself.
