Review on NESCO MWR18 13 Roaster Quarts Black by Melinda Oliver

I ordered this large 18 liter frypot to simplify the harvest/canning season. I love the size and number of tomatoes I can process at once. The temperature control moves, perhaps too easily. If you touch him, he moves. So pay close attention. The rest of the temperature seems right. I have read the directions and pre-smoked the recommended 1 hour before use. However, the lid of the detachable fountain burned through and broke off after the first use. I also followed the cleaning instructions and did not use any abrasive cleaners or products. That's very disappointing! Now I'll be worried about the harmful effects of this coating every time I use it, which is why I don't want to use it!
