Review on πŸ’§ Tysonir Water Filtration System: Premium Sink Faucet Water Filter for Chlorine, Heavy Metals, Lead, Flouride, & Bad Taste Removal by Amy Walker

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Semi-lightweight water filter and softener

So easy to install once you know how. The instructions are in Chinese, so there were no problems with that because there are pictures. But none of the reviews here or anything I saw in the product description told me I needed to remove anything from my sink. There was a piece of dirty net screwed into the faucet and it wasn't very comfortable, I didn't know that. So I had to unscrew it before any of the instructions worked. Installation aside, this is a very non-invasive filter, but not a particularly good one. Mainly because it doesn't actually filter anything. It channels water through a very porous stone, it doesn't let anything through the water. The same effect can be achieved by placing a porous rock in a cup of water and calling it "purified." Of course, over time, something will get into the porous rock, but that's a long way from forcing water through a multi-layer filter. I'm not sure if you can legally call it a filter. But it's hardly worse for you than plain tap water, but it certainly makes tap water undrinkable. But if you already drink tap water, you can put fruit and other things in the flavored water "filter" chamber. It's cool I think.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • It's ok
