The description says that the contents will be in the original packaging. I was under the impression that everything would work like a new fan. When I first opened the box, I found a handwritten note that clearly came from the person who sent it back to the company. Hunter didn't even bother to open the return packaging to see if the device was really defective. Despite seeing the "bad motor" notice, I decided to try installing it anyway, just in case the previous buyer just didn't install it properly. Guess what? That does not work. I can hear the motor "hum" but the motor doesn't turn at all. So I'm sending it back and sending it back to the same office who thought it would be a good idea to throw it back on the shelf unchecked and resell it. SMX. What a waste of time, energy and money.
