Provides plenty of space for rubbish; I would call it a road trip. The design makes it easy to throw out trash and keep it where it belongs. When it comes time to empty it, that's a breeze too, and the inside is lined with waterproof plastic so you can just rinse it out. When not in use, it folds up. However, when mounted on the back of the seat, it extends into the passenger area behind. I use it in a van where there is no one in the back so it's not a problem. If you're driving someone right behind where it's installed, on a smaller car you can temporarily remove it until the back seat opens. In any case, this solves the problem: where to put garbage, possibly wet garbage, and stay? I like this approach and am happy to have this thing in my van.
