Chef'n Bananza

The Chef'n Bananza works very well. I dehydrate fruit. It cuts 6 banana slices very quickly and easily. Two small things keep this tool from being perfect in my book. First, place your thumb on top to apply pressure to cut. Once I got my thumb to close the front blades (it's easy) and I cut myself. If they put a little guard between the blades and where you press, that would solve the problem. I'm going to make one out of a piece of PVC pipe (plastic water pipe) and glue it in place. Second, of course, you need to wash the planer after using it. Difficult to clean between the blades as they are close together (1/4 inch spacing). I have a feeling some sort of cleaning brush should come with the tool and if not what should be used to clean the slicer. effectively.
