Review on Walker 53389 Ultra Domestic Converter by Ben Balas

Picker says it fits my 2006 Ford Escape. It fits perfectly onto the flange on the tube leading to the front coil. The pipe diameter on the muffler is 2" while the original Ford catalytic converter is 2-1/4" OD. In addition, its overall length is a few centimeters shorter than the original Ford Cat. I replaced the 2016 muffler and resonator with Walker parts from a diagram I bought here in 2016. At that time they were a perfect match for the standard converter, so I ordered them again together with this cat. I was able to get this cat to work with this converter using the adapter on the schematic, a tube expander and a little grinding/sanding with a grinder. I sold an old Ford cat online for more than this price with free shipping so I'm happy with the camping.
