This was my first attempt at building one of these kits, but it won't be my last; I've already ordered a jeep and will probably take care of the locomotive then. It's been many years since I've built a model of anything and I have to say I really enjoyed it. I suppose you can put it together without tools, it's very well built and there are some particularly fine details, but you might, like me, find a few small tools that come in handy and make assembly easier. A sharp office knife, tweezers (my old man's hands don't work that well anymore), and some needle files. This project was quite exciting and although it took me over four hours I enjoyed every happy minute I spent during the building process. There were a few difficult sections, but in the end I didn't break a single detail and the result looks good. I can tweak some of the places where the pieces were connected to the leaf and find a suitable place in my house to display it. Great job ROCR!
