So for my 13 lb dog with a perfect chihuahua head despite being a mutt they work very well. I had to pull them almost all the way down to get the best fit. Since my dog has a fairly normal sized chihuahua head (which is quite small) anyone with a SMALL dog will find it too big unless your dog has a lot of down. My dog is not used to them yet and wants to take them off but I am sure as soon as I put him on the bike he will see the benefit of not being blinded. It takes him about a minute to take them down, which means they're safe. The bridge of the nose is foldable, which allows it to adapt well to the shape of any dog's muzzle, which is a plus. The straps are quite large and for a small dog like mine I think they could be made a bit thinner but still just as effective.
